If you experienced trauma and have symptoms related to this such as depression, anxiety, flashbacks or other uncomfortable feelings, I can help. Being a certified EMDR therapist, I have specialized in trauma and PTSD for several years and often utilize EMDR as my primary modality for treatment.
Seeking therapy is often the most difficult step in your healing journey. Before delving into creating changes that you might be seeking, I believe it’s important as my service to you to develop a relationship where you feel safe enough to address some of these challenges you’e experienced. At that point we can work through all of those challenges together; it can be a difficult process but I’ll be with you each step of the way.
Although trauma is my specialization, I also work with clients on a variety of different challenges you may have experienced, in addition to doing family work to address communication. I am also trained in the Gottman method and often use this approach when working with couples.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy the adventure of being in the great outdoors!
