I strive to provide a comfortable, safe, and peaceful environment to help you make positive changes. I believe that therapy is a very individualistic experience and requires understanding, empathy, and flexibility.
    I have experience working with children, adolescents, couples and adults as well as individuals within the LGBTQ community or people in non-traditional lifestyles. I work with a wide range of issues, including depression, relationship issues, trauma, and anxiety.
    I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and I am a certified facilitator with Prepare and Enrich program, a resource to help empower premarital and married couples.

    Q What experience do you have?

    I have been practicing in the mental health field for over 5 years. I was recently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in August of 2018. My years of practice has given me experience working with children and adolescents (ages 5 - 21) as well as adults, families and couples.

    Q What is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)?

    DBT is an evidenced based treatment model used to help individuals regulate extreme emotions. DBT has an emphasis on acceptance and change, validating each individual's story while acknowledging that change requires acceptance to lead a life you love. DBT teaches emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness and interpersonal skills.
