I have been working in the mental health field since 2014. My years of practice has given me experience working with adolescents, adults and couples to address a wide range of issues.
DBT is an evidenced based treatment model used to help individuals regulate extreme emotions. DBT has an emphasis on acceptance and change, validating each individual's story while acknowledging that change requires acceptance to lead a life you love. DBT teaches emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness and interpersonal skills.
As a queer therapist, I have years of experience working with folks in the LGBTQ+ community. I am a sex-positive & kink-allied therapist, and strive to provide a safe and judgment free therapeutic space for all.
