Populations I commonly work with:

Couples Therapy:  I find that couples are oftentimes challenged with both finding a couples counselor that will provide enough safety for both parties, but at the same time not be afraid to insert opinion and guidance as needed.

Children and Families:  I have over 10 years of experience working with children and their families on a broad range of issues.

Adult ADHD:  I specialize in the treatment of Adult ADHD.  I often find that many factors can worsen my clients’ ADHD symptoms, and a comprehensive assessment to identify these factors is crucial in creating an individualized treatment plan for Adult ADHD.

Codependence:  I myself am a recovering codependent.  I believe this helps me understand on a deeper level what my clients need, such as developing assertiveness skills.

Social Anxiety:  I personally have also lived with social anxiety and this also allows me to help my clients overcome the challenges associated with this diagnosis/symptom.  Social anxiety can be debilitating, and I make sure my clients give themselves credit for even the tiniest steps forward.  These tiny steps can, in actuality, be HUGE steps forward for the client.
