Are you looking for a therapist who is open, nonjudgmental and creates a safe container for you to show up authentically? My experience may match what you are looking for. I have worked extensively with queer communities and communities of color, and take a trauma-informed, collaborative, nonjudgmental and holistic approach to treatment.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California (#86545). I am originally from Sacramento, CA where I received my Master of Social Work degree from California State University, Sacramento in 2013. I am currently accepting new clients statewide interested in virtual (phone/video) individual psychotherapy or psychedelic integration.
I believe that the mind and body are complementary parts of the self, and that our wellness is impacted by our social, cultural, and physical environments. I often work to help identify and deconstruct systems of oppression and the impact these systems have on our mental health and wellness, as I believe this can be critical for healing.
I also incorporate harm reduction, insight-oriented, relational and mindfulness approaches into my practice. I have expertise in queer identities and relationships, and am poly-aware and kink-friendly. I have worked in various healthcare settings including mental health inpatient and outpatient programs, community mental health clinics, residential treatment programs, and substance misuse programs.
