As deeply social beings, our relationships take up very special places in our lives. Often they can feel exciting and full of positivity, and other times they may feel empty, lack luster, or wildly confusing. I would like to offer that there is no exactly right way for any given relationship to be, however, if you are seeking for your relationship to feel more connected, fulfilling, or clear, this is well within your desires.
Emotionally Focused Therapy is an attachment-based experiential therapy utilizing compassion and curiosity to identify and explore our experiences in our relationships, free of judgement and criticism. Couples can expect to explore deeply into their emotional experiences, and lay the groundwork for honest, warm, and welcoming communication.
With a history of working with children, teens, and adults alongside animals, I’ve been intrigued by our many, many ways of communicating our wants and needs across all different types of relationships, and I know and have experienced the power of learning and growing through deep courage and compassion, and would be honored to participate in your journey of growth as individuals and as couples.
