I offer a limited number of in-person sessions, plus Telehealth / Video and Walk & Talk / Park Setting sessions due to the pandemic. Call or email for a free consultation to see if we might work well together.

My name is Teresa and I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in integrative, trauma-informed practice with adults.

I help people rediscover their inherent wisdom, exercise their agency and power, and connect more deeply with themselves, others, and that which brings them meaning, peace, and purpose. I can help you uncover why you’re stuck in patterns of isolation and scarcity, rediscover your sources of inspiration, and feel the rush of living.

I believe that authenticity and genuineness invite connection, and that connection heals. I integrate depth psychology, relational therapy, and somatic / body-based strategies for self-discovery, emotional processing, and identity development. My approach, grounded in a commitment to anti-oppressive practice, neuroscience, and the rich tradition of contemporary relational psychoanalytic theory, yields the deep, transformative change that lasts and enriches all aspects of life.

I welcome opportunities to work with individuals, groups, and organizations who value whole-self wellness, the richness of diversity, and the daily work of creating a more inspired, inclusive, and life-giving society.

Q Do you take Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) from Davis Unified School District or Yolo County Office of Education?

Yes! If you are an employee of Davis Unified School District or the Yolo County Office of Education, you have excellent mental health benefits available to you and your immediate family / household members through their Employee Assistance Programs. Please call Psychological Resource Associates at 530-756-0555 for more information. You may request to be referred to me if you would like to explore the possibility of working together.

Q Do you take my insurance plan?

I am NOT contracted with any insurance plans. However, if you have a PPO insurance plan with out-of-network benefits, I am a qualified provider and can supply you with a Superbill each month to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You would pay my full rate out of pocket and then be responsible for submitting it to your insurance company. According to the terms of your insurance plan, your insurance company determines whether and how much to reimburse you. I cannot guarantee reimbursement for services.

  • Price Range - $175 per 50 min session. A limited number of sliding scale spots may be available. Please reach out for more information about sliding scale if you are a QTPOC, working class, SWer, and/or disabled/chronically ill person.
