*As of March 15th, 2021, I am accepting new clients.*

Audre Lorde wrote, “There is no such thing as a single-issue struggle because we do not live single-issue lives”. I believe and practice from this framework. We are relational beings connected to each other and society. At the intersections of ourselves and community, we may meet Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and complex Relationships. Getting to know these Problems helps us to understand their origins and find solutions.

I value collaboration, feedback, and creativity. I value brave spaces for your stories. I value sex-positive/kink-positive, gender affirming, sexuality affirming, anti-racist ways of practicing. As a queer, cis-woman of color, I have a personal understanding of being marginalized and the complexities of intersectionalities. From that awareness, I aim to deeply listen and respond to your own experiences.

I encourage you to reach out to set up a consultation.

I am under the amazing supervision of Genevieve Fahey, LMFT #102153

Q What is Art Therapy?

Art Therapy is the inclusion of art-making and art-viewing in a therapeutic space.
Sometimes processing a thought or feeling in a different way, in a visual way, can help us to understand it better. Sometimes there just aren't 'words' to express what we're trying to say. Line, color, shape can open doors of understanding and communication.
Biggest thing to remember is: you absolutely do not have to be an 'artist' to do art therapy! Art Therapy is for every and anyone!

Q Do I have to do Art Therapy?

No, absolutely not! Art-making and art-viewing are tools we have at our convenience and our disposal. Art therapy can be used according to your comfort level. We could use art in every session, no sessions, or somewhere in between. Completely up to you.
