I believe that every time we choose the path of healing, our lives are deepened and improved. As a survivor of childhood trauma, I became a mental health professional, to support others on their path to healing through a holistic approach.
I know how complicated these journeys are and understand that healing and recovery are possible. My goal is to leave clients feeling balanced, empowered, and ready to take on whatever life brings.
When working with clients I aim to support people on the path of connecting more to themselves and the world around them. Through a psychodynamic, mindfulness based, client-centered approach, I work with trauma survivors, people dealing with anxiety, depression, and those motivated to make positive changes in their lives.
I have a particular passion for working with adolescents and young adults. While I do enjoy working with individuals and couples of all ages, being a source of support and an advocate to youth during often turbulent years, is a role near and dear to my heart.
During sessions I offer feedback, skill-building techniques, and a variety of holistic tools for personal understanding. I am also a strong believer in the power of M.E.D.S, (mindfulness, exercise, diet, sleep) and work with clients to incorporate those practices into their lives.
