Our thoughts have the power to dictate the tempo of our lives, either in a positive or negative light. I strongly believe that we all have the innate wisdom to heal ourselves, yet there are times when we need to lean on someone else. To be reminded of our strengths, accept our vulnerabilities, and shine a little light on a dark path.

“Happiness can be found even in the darkness of times. If one only remembers to turn on the light.” ~Dumbledore

Q Feeling nervous about reaching out for help?

Therapy can feel scary at first. Asking for help can be so difficult! I am always in awe of those who contact me, as they have demonstrated to me that they have courage- even if that courage is in the seconds they dial, or minutes they spend writing up an email. If you are reading this, thinking seriously about therapy-- bravo. The first step is always the hardest!
