Background

As a queer person of color, Ariana has a passion for providing emotional, psychological, and somatic support to folks who experience multilayered marginalized identities. In 2019, Ariana became a certified yoga instructor and founded POC meets Rainbow, a movement that centers the wellbeing of QT/BIPOCs in the yoga and meditation wellness world.

Ariana also holds a Master’s Degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology.  Including certification in LGBT Human Services and Mental Health.

Ariana has been providing short term crisis counseling, long-term psychotherapy, and emotional support to marginalized communities, such as immigrant, monolingual Spanish speakers, LGBTQ+, people of color, and others since 2012. Ariana has received training and supervision in trauma work, victims/survivors of violence, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+, BIPOC experiences, children, play therapy, parent/child dynamics, sandtray, and more.
