    Therapists Who Practice Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a tool that some therapists use in conjunction with talk therapy, and it usually involves the client entering a calm, focused state of mind in a controlled and soothing environment. It is used to treat many mental concerns and symptoms ranging from anxiety to substance abuse to physical ailments such as teeth grinding and trouble sleeping. Although television and film portray otherwise, hypnotherapy does not involve a state in which the client is asleep or not in control of themselves; rather, it offers a controlled deeper state of focus to discuss and work though certain emotions or discussions.
