Therapists Who Practice Attachment Based Therapy

In attachment based therapy, much focus is put on the relationships the client has or used to have with others. The main focus is on understanding connections to others, why those bonds are weak, strong, or healthy, and how all of this shapes the client’s current perceptions, views, and feelings. Often this approach will be used to help clients mend broken relationships or come to new understandings and actions about relationships. Being able to understand how relationships hurt and heal us is the goal.
